01Scope of this policy
This policy explains how the Android application Aptitude Crack (package com.neukaps.aptitudecrack, the “App”), published by Neukaps, handles information. It applies only to this App and its leaderboard service, not to any website or application run by anyone else, including pages the App may open in your browser.
By installing and using the App, you agree to the handling of information described here. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
02Summary
03Data stored on your device
The App saves a small amount of information in its private storage so it behaves the way you left it:
- Display preference — light or dark theme.
- Practice statistics — your test history, scores and daily streak, shown on the Profile tab.
- An install ID — a random code the App generates the first time you open the leaderboard. It is not your phone’s hardware ID or advertising ID, and it tells us nothing about you or your device.
- Leaderboard sign-in — if you join, your username, avatar and a sign-in token, plus any finished test results waiting to be sent while you are offline.
Other apps cannot read this storage. It is deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
04The optional leaderboard
The Leaderboard tab lets you compare daily test scores with other learners. It is entirely optional; you can take tests and keep your streak without ever joining.
What is sent when you join
- Username you choose (3–16 characters). While you type, the App asks our server whether the name is free.
- Avatar you pick from the App’s built-in set (owl, panda and so on). No photos are uploaded.
- Install ID described above, so your board entry can be restored if the App loses its sign-in token, for example after a backup restore.
- Country, always sent as “India”. It is not detected from your device or location.
What is sent after each test, once you have joined
- The number of questions, correct answers and wrong answers, how long the test took, and the date. Your individual answers are not sent.
Who can see it
Your username, avatar, rank and scores appear on the public leaderboard inside the App, where other players can see them. Choose a username that does not reveal your real identity if you prefer to stay anonymous.
Where it is kept and why
This data is stored on our own leaderboard server (ocracleserver.neukaps.com) and used only to run the leaderboard. Your username and install ID are shared with the leaderboards of our other study apps (such as Current Affairs and Economy), so the same name works in each, though every app ranks separately. We keep leaderboard data for as long as your entry exists and delete it when you ask (see Delete your data). Like any web server, ours receives your IP address with each request; it is used only to deliver the response and protect the service from abuse, and is not linked to your profile.
05Update check
When you open the App, it asks our server whether a newer version is available, so it can suggest updating from Google Play. This request carries only the platform (“android”) and the App’s build number. It contains no identifier, username or personal information, and nothing from it is stored against you.
06What we never collect
- Your real name, email address, phone number or other contact details
- Location data, whether precise or approximate
- Contacts, call logs, SMS, photos, files, camera or microphone
- Advertising IDs or hardware device identifiers
- Analytics, crash reports or behavioural tracking
- Payment information — the App is free and has no in-app purchases
07Permissions the App requests
The App requests a single Android permission:
INTERNET— used for the optional leaderboard, the update check, and to open external links such as the App’s Google Play page. Questions do not need a connection.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, storage, contacts or any other sensitive permission.
08Third-party services
The App contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs and no social-media trackers. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
Links you may open
Tapping a link inside the App may take you to Google Play or another external site, where that site’s privacy policy applies.
Google Play
Distribution and installation are handled by Google Play, which collects its own information under Google’s privacy policy, independently of the App. See policies.google.com/privacy.
09Google Play Data safety summary
This mirrors the declarations in the Play Console Data safety form. Everything below applies only if you join the leaderboard.
| Question | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Personal info: User IDs | Optional | Leaderboard username. Used for app functionality. |
| App activity | Optional | Daily test scores and durations. Used for app functionality. |
| Device or other IDs | Optional | App-generated install ID, to restore a leaderboard entry. |
| Data shared with third parties | None | Data stays on our own server. |
| Encrypted in transit | Yes | All leaderboard traffic uses HTTPS. |
| Deletion request | Available | By email; see section 10. |
10Delete your data
On your device: Settings → Apps → Aptitude Crack → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the App. This removes your stats, streak, install ID and sign-in token.
On the leaderboard server: clearing the App does not remove your public leaderboard entry. To delete it, email neukapssoftwares@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my leaderboard account” and your leaderboard username. We will delete your username, avatar, install ID and all your scores within 30 days and confirm by reply. Nothing is kept after deletion.
If you are covered by a law such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the GDPR, you may also ask us at the same address for a copy of your leaderboard data or to correct it.
11Children’s privacy
The App is a study aid for students preparing for SSC, RRB, banking and other competitive examinations and is not directed at children under 13. It has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no chat or messaging. The leaderboard asks only for a made-up username and a built-in avatar. If you believe a child has joined the leaderboard, contact us and we will delete the entry.
12Security
Data on your device is protected by Android’s app sandbox. Leaderboard traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and each player’s results can only be written with that player’s sign-in token. Because we never ask for passwords, emails or phone numbers, there is very little about you that could be exposed.
13Content and accuracy
Questions are taken from previous years’ SSC, RRB and IBPS examination papers for study purposes; questions from memory-based reconstructions are labelled as such. Every answer was checked by solving it, and the formulas, tricks and worked solutions are written by us. The App is a practice aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SSC, RRB, IBPS, UPSC or any other government body or examination authority. Always verify against official sources and the current syllabus.
14Changes to this policy
If the App starts handling information differently, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the dates at the top of this page will change. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes on the Play Store listing.
